Hi, i am having a big problem.

I bought the Metal1 VSTi.. i have a drum pad consisting in 6 pads an 2 foot pedals. The problem is that this drum pad only sends notes in the 7-13 range. The Metal1 VST has midi mappings starting only at note 30... so i hear nothing. I am using REAPER.

I tried to transpose every note, but that doesn't work fine in Reaper as it "locks" each note and i hear only them the first time i "hit" the correspondent pad.

I would like to know how can i change note mappings in Metal1 VSTi, or in alternative, how can i transpose each MIDI note differently (as i want to be able to setup the sounds to each pad).

Thank you.

First of all this is what is described at the webpage regarding E drums:

These plugins are set up as a GM drum kit and will work with e-drums. However, they are not specifically adapted for that purpose, therefore we recommend trying the demo before the purchase to see if our product meets your needs. If it doesn’t, we can recommend Toontrack’s EZdrummer, which is a nice plugin that works very well with E-drums.

That said. I use Drummix with my Roland V6 module. I had to go into the module to change the setup.
That is what you have to do. It is not possible to change it within the plugin.

See what you can make of it and contact me by firm email to talk if you don't.
