But I didn't get any email yet.
Tried again with the hell, no! button and still didn't get the email.

I'd love to try this one.

I'll trade you a new Reaper drum map when I make it.

Can't say. I think the one I got was the free one. I think the money didn't get drawn from the Credit card either but I haven't checked. I didn't check because I got the plug-in and wanted to pay for it anyway so I got what I wanted and payed for it. Unless there is a difference between the payed and the free one?

Anyway, I just now got around to installing it and haven't tried it yet.

SO, I tried it the Drummix Beta for a bit today.
For my uses it does fine, I only use it for demos and for replacing our drummer when he has night shift and can't make practice...

Hi-hat closure works beautifully!

I do feel that even if they are not the highest quality tones, they are very lifelike and the selection of the cymbals are great.

But I must say some things are peculiar:
- It appears as though all toms (the A and the B notes,#45, 47 & 48) sound the same, except the third tom (#48) just sounds like it's been hit less hard. 45 and 47 are exactly the same.

- Also the sounds that Drummix Beta has in common with General Midi still don't quite line up, like the semi-open hi-hat on 42 where GM has the closed hi-hat. The semi-open Hihat doesn't sound like a pedal-played hi-hat, which for GM is on #44 where Drummix has the closed hi-hat. I'm not really a drummer, so I'm not entirely sure how they should sound or what the correct English terms for the different sounds are, but that's what I would classify them as. Other differences are a cymbal where the GM has a high tom, etc. This still makes it harder than simply dragging and dropping a rythm pattern.

Included are Reaper midi note map for Drummix Beta as I hear them and the corresponding GM/GS notes: just copy the bit between the -------'s into a txt file.

Hi there. This is the first beta version ever made of the Drummix previously called MydDrumset. It is not comparable to the full Drummix line as it has few layers, few drums and in general recorded to check if I could do such a plugin. It's free.
