Hello there,

I'd like to know if it is possible to customize the drum mapping of myDrumset?
This would speed up my whole workflow, because I compose the drums in guitar pro and export the track to midi. As the mapping used in the export doesn't fit the myDrumset mapping I always have to change the midi to fit the myDrumset-mapping.

I'm quite new to all this midi-stuff so I don't know if there's another workaround...

However, the plugIn works absolutely fantastic for me and I am really looking forward to future versions.

Hi and thanks for the nice words. This is unfortunatly a beta and there is no way of customize. I am sorry.

oh and by the way - I figured out a way to remap the midi channels to match the vst inputs. There are various mapping-plugins out there which allow you to remap midi channels. Just search for "midi channel mapper".

What midi mapper did you get?
I'm having trouble using myDrumset with standard midi drum files because the note mapping is totally different. The kick drum in GM is not the kick in myDrumset, which boggles my mind because it seems like it would be so easy to just use the same notes for as much as possible. MyDrumset sounds infinitely better of course, GM just doesn't inspire...

Anyway, mapping the midi-channel would not change the note values, would it? I'm a guitarist and even less adept at this stuff than you appear to be...

I'd love a couple standard drum beats to play over. There are some available online. Or a remapping application that would simply take that midi file and remap the notes so they would fit myDrumset. I'm not a programmer either (there are a lot of things I'm not) but it doesn't seem that hard?

Hi guys.

I did this because it is a beta version. BUT, the only thing you need to do is to transpose the midifiles 24 semitones up. I'm sure all the well known sequencers can do it easily.
