It's a good feeling for me to tell you that I am finally finished with Drummix Metal1. This is the first edition of hopefully a long list of great sounding drum kits.
This particular drum kit is one of the 25 famous copies of Lars Ulrich TAMA Artstar 2. We have recorded it in a semi-ambience space and it sounds absolutely amazing. It can be used to all kinds of metal and even rock music. Please got to the website and have a listen. The drum kit has been given a price of 50 dollars which is way cheaper than any of our competitors:-)

As with Mydrumset, this is unprocessed drum sounds and you can mix it to sound like anything you want.

I just bought it right away & allready had some fun with it. It's a great possibility to treat a computer drum kit like a real natural sounding recording. I like the possibility to create my very own sound with that 12 microphone tracks (even if it's not the most professional one, it's my way to treat that drumkit & so it just fits in my whole recording).

A smaller gui window would be great as I'm working mostly mobile on an EeePC.
I hope there will be an introduction offer for the other kits too as it has become much more expensive as first announcement, or do I remember wrong? It would be great to see offers for other kits when you allready own some. Personally I am willing to pay more than the aimed around 100$ (don't remember so well...) for all kits in the first announcement but at some point further sample packs should be at reduced price, I think. But O.K. that's future music. My first wish is that you will release many plugins in the future.

I wish you thousands of sellings, I bet hundreds would make you allready happy - I guess it's quite difficult to make many people buy - I know myself how difficult this business must be from making freeware plugins for the scope platform once: Very few people say "thank you" at all. I keep most of my synthmaker developements for myself right now.

Great to hear that you are satisfied. I have worked my ass of to make this and will probably not get back 10 percent of the hours of work! But that is not the important part. I do this because I think it is fun and that’s what’s motivate me.

There will hopfully be many releases of Drummix in the future. I think I said 25 dollars each but I had to raise it due to the amount of work. Buying more than one will probably lower the price a bit.

Smaller gui have to come later:-)

Good luck with it and you'll be one of the first to know when the next comes out.

Any idea when Rock 1 will be available. I am tempted to get BFD Eco but wanted to give Rock 1 a try first. My budget is quite tight so I can't afford both.

I'm a bit locked up on making a special Computer music version at the moment. It will be a free ( you have to buy the magazine) version of a cool rock kit. It is limited to 3 layers a key, but it sounds fairly good. You should pick that up anyway. Regards to BFD eco, I would personally pick it up now that it's only 30 dollars. You get a lot of nice stuff. My Rock 1 kit will hopefully be released before Christmas so you would need to decide on that eco version before Rock 1 is released. If you do, you probably won't regret. Maybe there's 30 bucks in your pocket when Rock 1 is released anyway;-) I personally think as a producer that you should have more than one card up your sleeve.
