After trying the Drummix Metal demo I became the proud owner of the full version. I run Sonar X1 Producer and after activating the plug-in I ran into some interesting challenges with the MULTI option of the plugin in my attempt to manage the drums on multiple audio outputs. When I load it into Sonar I select "All Synth Audio Output: Stereo" and Sonar produces 6 stereo tracks. As I mute and solo the various Drum tracks in the Drummix interface I can see that they correspond to the various audio tracks Sonar generates, but it's odd: For example, the Kick is panned far left on Output 1, while the Snare is far Right on Output 1. The Room is panned far right on Output 6. How do I either pan these or set these to different outputs? Does Drummix just use six outputs?

Also I notice that some MIDI tracks trigger the kick track in the Drummix interface to illuminate the "M" button which really dims the sound of the kick. Is there a specific SysEx message I should look for that causes this, or what else could cause this?

Thanks in advance for any help that anyone can provide.

Well, I figured out the panning issue, when I opened the VSTi as "All Synth Audio Output: Mono" I got what I needed so I hope that helps other Sonar X1 users in the future. However, I'm still puzzled by the "M" on the interface for Drummix and how MIDI tracks may be causing that.

Good you figured out the pannig problem:-)

The other problem sounds very strange. I need to know what message triggers the mute buttons and which of the mute buttons go off by which message before I can figure out if this a bug I need to fix.

Could you send me a report on info@bluenoiseplugins.com?

I hope you are happy with the sound:-)

Bjarte
