I got another email saying this forum misses me so much, so here I am again!

I finally found out how to add the names to the piano roll keyboard in Reapers midi edit window and the following is about what I came up with:

---------------------
// MIDI note name map generated by Reaper
82 Cymbal3 mute
81 Cymbal1 mute
80 Cymbal2 mute
79 Cymbal3 Bell
78 Cymbal3 Crash
77 HH bell
76 Cymbal1 Bell
75 Cymbal1 Crash
74 Cymbal2 Bell
73 Cymbal2 Crash
72 High tom lt
71 High Tom
70 HH open
69 Med tom
68 HH closed
67 Floortom
66 HH semi
65 Rim
64 Snare double
63 Sidestick
62 Snare
61 Snare Roll
60 Kick
-----------------------------

Is that about right, mr. Bluemusic?
I'm not entirely sure about #72, it has the same pitch as the high tom, just shorter. Another tom with different tuning would be more useful to me I think.

Enjoy!

Copy the stuff between the lines into a text file, save it and use Load Note Names File into Reaper Midi edit window (File menu command). I'd attach a txt file, but the forum doesn't allow it.

Hi,

I just put together exactly the same thing while sitting on the train last weekend! I think yours is more accurate. I'll check mine when I get home tonight.
I love this plug-in!

Well, i'm not a native english speaker, I'm not 100% sure the terms are correct, but it seems to check out.
Just checked out the tones and typed them in in the piano roll window, then had reaper export it.
Good luck with it.

Now if the hihat close got fixed...
